The client wanted to transform an underused living room wall into a multifunctional feature combining media, storage and a dedicated home office, while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic.
Working from a concept created by the client’s architect, Oak Projects was responsible for translating the design into a fully bespoke joinery solution, from technical detailing and material selection through to manufacturing and fitting.

The Result
A project where function became part of the architecture of the home. Storage was added without making the hallway feel heavy, the sliding rattan doors created separation without completely closing off the spaces, and the media wall gave the living room a strong focal point while adding another substantial layer of storage.
The contrast between the natural oak and rattan textures and the bold sprayed finishes is what really makes this project stand out. It’s a great example of how bespoke joinery can connect multiple areas of a home through one consistent design language.
