A bespoke bedroom uses furniture designed specifically around the dimensions, architecture and storage needs of your room, rather than furniture bought separately and arranged around whatever gaps happen to be left.
Standard furniture tends to give up on the parts of a room that don’t come in neat rectangles. A bespoke bedroom doesn’t. Sloped ceilings, alcoves either side of a chimney breast, uneven walls, low eaves in an attic room, awkward corners where two wardrobes would never quite meet properly.
These are exactly the areas made-to-measure cabinetry is built to use, turning space that freestanding furniture simply leaves behind into storage you actually rely on.
That includes fitted wardrobes designed around the exact width and height of your wall, but it doesn’t stop there. OAK can design beds, headboards, bedside furniture, desks, shelving, dressing areas and integrated storage as individual pieces or as one complete bedroom, built and fitted as a single coordinated project.
